The Bible says in EVERYTHING by prayer and supplication WITH THANKSGIVING let your requests be made known unto God. (Philippians 4:6).
We are not praying to some statue that has no power, no
knowledge, no life... We are praying to the God of the universe that created
all things, knows all things, and has all power. We are not “bothering” God. He
can hear at the same time everyone's prayer, from small prayers to big prayers.
He can also answer every single prayer, even at the same time, for He has all
power and knowledge. We serve a big and mighty God. His name is Jesus.
With every request, we have the opportunity to give God
thanks and praise.
"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall
find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: for every one that asketh
receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be
opened.”
“Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread,
will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If
ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much
more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask
him?" - Matthew 7:7-11 KJV
"But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet,
and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and
thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly." - Matthew 6:6
KJV
"The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to
all that call upon him in truth. He will fulfil the desire of them that fear [reverent]
him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them." - Psalm 145:18-19
KJV
