"And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne." - Revelation 4:2 KJV
The Lamb sits in the midst of the throne.
"For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall
feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters..." -
Revelation 7:17 KJV
Who is the Lamb?
"The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and
saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world." -
John 1:29 KJV
Jesus, the Lamb, is Lord of lords, and King of kings.
"These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall
overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are
with him are called, and chosen, and faithful." - Revelation 17:14 KJV
Jesus, as the Lamb of God, shed His own blood for our sins
to redeem us back to Himself.
"Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with
corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by
tradition from your fathers; but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a
lamb without blemish and without spot:" - 1 Peter 1:18-19 KJV
The invisible Spirit of God was in the visible body of
Christ. God was manifest in the flesh.
"To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world
unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto
us the word of reconciliation." - 2 Corinthians 5:19 KJV
This wonderful word of reconciliation was preached by
Peter on the Day of Pentecost.
"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized
every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye
shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to
your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God
shall call." - Acts 2:38-39 KJV
