At Thanksgiving, we give thanks to Jesus for our family and friends, for food, and for all He provides for us. We especially thank Jesus for the salvation He has given us – the forgiveness of our sins through His name, and the greatest gift of all, to be filled with His Spirit! We truly have so much to be thankful for.
Yet, this is a reminder that we should CONTINUALLY offer
praise and thanksgiving to God.
"By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise
to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his
name." - Hebrews 13:15 KJV
"I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall
continually be in my mouth." - Psalm 34:1 KJV
"Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in
thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be
magnified." - Psalm 70:4 KJV
