The kingdom of God is in power.
"For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power."

When we enter the kingdom of God by being born of water and
of the Spirit, we receive the power of the Spirit that is life changing. (John
3:5, Luke 17:21, Romans 14:17).
"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost
is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in
all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." -
Acts 1:8 KJV
The power of the Holy Ghost gives us a life changing
experience that we become witnesses of. By the Holy Ghost and baptism in Jesus
name we are washed, sanctified, and justified.
BEFORE the transforming of the gospel, we were not able to enter the kingdom of God. (Romans 3:23, Romans 5:12).
"Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the
kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor
adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor
thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall
inherit the kingdom of God." - 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 KJV
Another translation:
"Don't you realize that those who do wrong will not
inherit the Kingdom of God? Don't fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual
sin [sex outside of marriage], or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are
male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, or are thieves, or greedy people,
or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people--none of these will inherit the
Kingdom of God." - 1 Corinthians 6:9-10
And such WERE some of you!
"And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye
are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the
Spirit of our God." - 1 Corinthians 6:11 KJV
By the gospel, being born of water and of the Spirit, we are
transformed, able to enter into the kingdom! (John 3:5).
