The house of the Lord is more than just a place where the Gospel is preached and obeyed.

The house of the Lord is a place of praising the name of Jesus in spiritual songs with thankful hearts, leaping and dancing before the Lord, rejoicing in the Lord and the power of His might.

It is a house of prayer for all nations, of people lifting up holy hands, worshiping Jesus. It is shouting unto God with joy and with the voice of triumph. It is a place of giving thanks to God because He is good, for His mercy endures forever! It is a place where the Holy Ghost turns sorrow into joy, and mourning to dancing. It is where the preaching of the Word of God goes forth, encouraging, correcting, by love and patience, protecting from danger, instructing with understanding and wisdom. It is a place where repentance and forgiveness can be found, where tears can wash the soul, where sins can be washed away by baptism in the name of Jesus, and God’s Spirit can fill with mercy and love.

The house of the Lord is an awesome place!
