When we make a change in our life to live for God, there are
places we need to stop going to. These places bring us into the environment of
the sins we are no longer involved with. It is not wise to put ourselves in an
atmosphere where everyone is doing what we have committed to God we would no
longer do.
Why are we back in these places? If we do return to the places
where we used to sin, we put ourselves in a position where it is natural for
others to put the pressure on us to conform once again to the activities that
we have turned from.
God have given us the power to turn away from sin, and be a
witness to others of our new life in God. This power is His Spirit, the Holy
Ghost in us. It takes strength to live for God. The Lord gives us His strength!
(Acts 2:38-39).
