Jesus made us just [made us right] by His blood He shed for our sins.

“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God [made right with God] in him." - 2 Corinthians 5:21

"Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him." - Romans 5:9

Jesus spoke of the blood He would shed for the remission of sins, when He gave His disciples fruit of the vine at His last supper before His death.

"For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins." - Matthew 26:28 KJV

"And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission." - Hebrews 9:22 KJV

"To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins." - Acts 10:43 KJV ["He is the one all the prophets testified about, saying that everyone who believes in him will have their sins forgiven through his name."" - Acts 10:43 NLT]

It is through His name JESUS – called in water baptism in Jesus name – that we receive remission of sins and are made right with God.

"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." - Acts 2:38
