The Bible says,

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." - Ephesians 6:12 KJV

The Bible then says,

"Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." - Ephesians 6:13 KJV

Our defense against the “fiery darts of the wicked” is “the shield of faith.”

"Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked." - Ephesians 6:16 KJV

How do we get this “shield of faith”?

I recently heard the answer to this question.

They said we get the shield of faith to quench the fiery darts of the wicked by praying in the Holy Ghost (speaking in tongues).

The Bible says,

"But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost," - Jude 1:20 KJV

Praying in the Holy Ghost can take away oppression, depression, and discouragement. There is a peace that comes from God, and a joy that brings a whole new outlook. It is amazing how praying in the Holy Ghost can change things!
