It’s not about, “Is that a heaven or hell issue?”

If we love Jesus, our actions will not be based on, “I don’t think doing this will take me to hell.” If we love Jesus, our actions will be based on our desire to please Him in all that we do, say, and think.

It’s about wanting to please Jesus because I love Him, and He loves me.

We are the bride of Christ. (John 3:29). We are the body of Christ. (1 Corinthians 12:27).

"So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: for we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
