How can bad traffic, impatient people, or kids testing your
patience be situations to give thanks for?
These situations are tests so we may demonstrate our love
for Jesus, and be a witness to others of His Spirit in us.
"In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of
God in Christ Jesus concerning you." - 1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV
The easiest way to pass these tests is to be full of the
Holy Ghost, which is God’s Spirit. (Acts 2:38)
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there
is no law." - Galatians 5:22-23 KJV
In every trying situation, praying for ourselves and others,
calling on Jesus for His help.
"Be careful for nothing [Don’t be anxious about
anything]; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let
your requests be made known unto God.
“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding,
shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." - Philippians
4:6-7 KJV
And in all situations, keeping the joy of the Lord in our
hearts.
"… for the joy of the LORD is your strength." -
Nehemiah 8:10 KJV
"My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers
temptations [when you face trials]; knowing this, that the trying of your faith
worketh patience.
“But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be
perfect and entire, wanting nothing [that you may be mature and complete, not
lacking anything]." - James 1:2-4 KJV
"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth
me." - Philippians 4:13 KJV
