Prayer, Spiritual Battles, and True Victory
Our battle is WON when our “enemy” (those driven by a
carnal, sinful nature to do evil against us, and those being driven by the god
of this world, the devil, to do evil against us) falls under conviction, is converted,
and is saved to live for Jesus (Acts 2:38). And THEY JOIN the army of the Lord
against the forces of evil.
"To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to
light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness
of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in
me." - Acts 26:18 KJV [2 Corinthians 4:3-4, 2Timothy 2:25-26].
"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but
against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of
this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." - Ephesians 6:12

We pray against the forces of evil, we pray for overpowering
conviction to fall on those doing unnamable atrocities, that they repent and
turn to Jesus. [Acts 2:38].
"Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the
Spirit…" - Ephesians 6:18 KJV [See: Ephesians 6:10-18].
"Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the
kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor
adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor
thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall
inherit the kingdom of God.
“And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye

The gates of hell cannot prevail against the Church. By the
gospel – the blood, the Spirit, and the name of Jesus -– souls are released and
set free - hell cannot hold souls captive. [Acts 2:38, Matthew 16:18,
1Corinthians 10:4].
