We have quit some of our old habits that were not pleasing to God. We are feeling good, feeling victory over conquering those things that were bringing us down.
There are also habits of places we “hang out” at. Usually,
these places are centered around the old habits we quit. People go to these
places to enjoy these habits. They want to be around people that are also
enjoying these habits.
But they’re not going to enjoy being around us, and we’re
not going to enjoy being around them. The place we’re going back to is a place
of the bad habits we’ve quit.
No matter how great we feel about the victories we’ve won,
the pressure is on to make us return to our “old self” again.
To be a success and to keep the victories we’ve won, we need
to move on and find some new places to go to that are “bad habit free.”
We want to stay on God’s path. We don’t want our feet taking
us to places where we can fall back into the bad habits we’ve conquered.

foot from evil." - Proverbs 4:27 KJV
"Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors
through him that loved us." - Romans 8:37 KJV
"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth
me." - Philippians 4:13 KJV
