There is peace WITH God, and there is the peace OF God

"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." - Acts 2:38 KJV

There is peace WITH God, and there is the peace OF God.

The peace WITH God comes when we are water baptized in Jesus name for the remission of sins, applying the blood Jesus shed for us on the cross. Jesus made peace with us after sin separated us. (Isaiah 59:2, Colossians 1:21-23, Acts 2:38).

"And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself…" - Colossians 1:20 KJV

"To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them..." - 2 Corinthians 5:19 KJV

The peace OF God is found when we receive the gift of God’s Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:38).

"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." - John 14:26-27 KJV

"For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost." - Romans 14:17 KJV

We find peace WITH God by baptism in Jesus name, and the peace OF God by receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost. PEACE.
