What is water baptism in Jesus name?

It is the decision to turn our life to Jesus and our back on sin by repenting. It is being immersed in water in Jesus name for the remission of sins.

Water baptism in Jesus name, along with receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, is a covenant with Jesus. It is the New Covenant. The New Covenant is also called the New Testament.

The Old Covenant was made on Mount Sinai. It was made when God brought Israel out of Egypt.

The New Covenant was made on Mount Calvary. It was made when God brought us out of sin.
