How did the King of glory arrive to dwell among His creation?

He came born as a baby, wrapped in swaddling clothes, and laid in a manger, no room in the inn, but instead born in a shed made for animals.

Jesus revealed Himself as our Savior that brought salvation through humility.

"But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross." - Philippians 2:7-8

Jesus is our example, for we too, as a follower of Christ, are to humble ourselves.

"Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up." - James 4:10

Just as Jesus humbled Himself and died on a cross, we are to deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow Him. We become dead to sin by repentance, humbling ourselves before the Lord. When we are baptized in Jesus name for the remission of our sins, the Lord lifts us up, filling us with the power of His Spirit to live a new and holy life in Jesus. (Luke 9:23, Rom.6:1-6, Acts 2:38)

"And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted." - Matthew 23:12

This is the greatest act God has done, redeeming mankind through humility, making Himself in the form of a man to shed His blood for the sins of the world.

"Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." - Philippians 2:9-11

"To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them..." - 2 Corinthians 5:19

"Who is the image of the invisible God…" - Colossians 1:15

"And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain…" - Revelation 5:6

Because God’s greatest act was not the creation of the universe, but rather His humbling of Himself to be born a man to be a sacrifice for our sin, He sits on His throne in heaven as a Lamb - Jesus Christ the righteous.
