"And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou
hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and
bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall
be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the
throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for
ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end." - Luke 1:30-33 KJV
JESUS brought His kingdom on earth. Isaiah prophesied of
this.
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given:
and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called
Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of
Peace." - Isaiah 9:6 KJV
"Of the increase of his government and peace there
shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it,
and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for
ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this." - Isaiah 9:7 KJV
Jesus would establish His kingdom on earth by the gospel.
(His death, burial, and resurrection).
The Father robed Himself in flesh and blood to take our
place, facing judgment and justice for our sin. God established His kingdom with
judgment and with justice by the death of this child that was born, this son
that was given, which is the Father’s body, called by the Father's name JESUS. (Luke
11:2, John 5:43). God’s human body that He dwelt in was of the lineage of king
David. God’s kingdom of peace would be everlasting.
The Father brought
peace between mankind and Himself by the holy sacrifice of His body. (Acts
20:28, Hebrews 2:14-15).
"To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world
unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them" - 2 Corinthians
5:19a KJV
"And, having made peace through the blood of his cross,
by him to reconcile all things unto himself" - Colossians 1:20a KJV
What is His kingdom?
"For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but
righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost." - Romans 14:17 KJV
How do we enter His kingdom?
"Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the
kingdom of God." - John 3:5 KJV
We enter the kingdom of God by water baptism in Jesus name
for the remission of sins, and by Spirit baptism by receiving the gift of the
Holy Ghost, speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives us the utterance. (Acts 2:4,
Acts 10:45-46, Acts 19:6). This is our peace with God.
"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized
every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye
shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to
your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God
shall call." - Acts 2:38-39 KJV
"And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call
his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins." - Matthew
1:21 KJV
"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is
none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." -
Acts 4:12 KJV
