The Preparation of the Gospel of Peace - Part Two

When we put on the whole armour of God, our feet are to be shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. (Ephesians 6:10-17)

The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. (1 Corinthians 15:1-4)

We apply the gospel by repenting of our sins, being baptized in Jesus name for the remission of sins, and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost. (Romans 6:1-7; Acts 2:38)
This is the gospel of peace, because through the gospel and our obedience to the gospel, peace is restored between us and God. (Colossians 1:20-2

By the blood of Jesus through the preparation of the gospel of peace, we have power on our feet to defeat the devil.
"And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen." - Romans 16:20
Through the preparation of the gospel of peace, we have the authority and power of the name of Jesus to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will hurt us.
"And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you." - Luke 10:17-19
By the blood of Jesus through the preparation of the gospel of peace we have overcame –defeated -triumphed over - and conquered the devil – the accuser of our brethren.
"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death [and they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die]" - Revelation 12:11
