There is a popular saying, “I'm a sinner saved by grace.” If you have obeyed the gospel (Acts 2:38), and you are living for God, you are not a sinner. And besides that, the Bible tells us a sinner is not saved.

Thank Jesus, by His death, burial, and resurrection, we were able to repent of our sins, be baptized in His name Jesus for the remission of our sins, and by His grace be filled with His Spirit to live a new, overcoming life.

When we repent, we change. Repentance is not when you cry, but when you change.

"Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God." - 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 KJV

"And such WERE some of you: but ye are WASHED, but ye are SANCTIFIED, but ye are JUSTIFIED in the NAME of the Lord JESUS, and by the SPIRIT of our God." - 1 Corinthians 6:11 KJV (Acts 2:38). [My emphasis.]

"But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life." - Romans 6:22 KJV
