God worked a mighty miracle delivering Paul and Silas from the prison they were in by sending an earthquake that shook the foundations, opening the doors and loosing the bands of all the prisoners.

The keeper of the prison seeing the prison doors open and supposing that the prisoners had been fled, fell down trembling before Paul and Silas and said,

"Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" - Acts 16:30 KJV

"And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." - Acts 16:31 KJV

Is this the end of the story? NO!

"And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house." - Acts 16:32 KJV

What was the response of the keeper of the prison and all those that were in his house to the preaching of God’s word?

"And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway." - Acts 16:33 KJV

Just like on the Day of Pentecost, the prison keeper and his house heard the word of the Lord, received it. and were baptized. (Acts 2:38-41).

"And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house." - Acts 16:34 KJV
