There is no repentance in the grave. Plan your life as if you have many years ahead, but live your life for God as if today is your last day!

Peter preached the gospel.

"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." - Acts 2:38

Jesus has called us. If you are reading this, God is calling you.

"For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call." - Acts 2:39

Save yourself from this crooked (‘untoward’) generation!

"And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation." - Acts 2:40

They RECEIVED his word, and the SAME DAY were BAPTIZED IN JESUS NAME AND BAPTIZED WITH THE HOLY GHOST and became A PART of the CHURCH. (John 3:5).

"Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls." - Acts 2:41

They CONTINUED STEDFASTLY in the APOSTLES’ DOCTINE, FELLOWSHIP, BREAKING OF BREAD, and PRAYERS.

"And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers." - Acts 2:42

"Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away." - James 4:14

But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.

"And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever." - 1 John 2:17 KJV
