When we draw close to God, He will draw close to us. (James 4:8)

We draw close to Jesus by prayer – thanking Him for all He has done for us, from giving us breath, to giving food on our table, to meeting our needs. (Philippians 4:6)

He speaks to us when we read His word, the Bible. When we pray and ask the Lord for His will in our life, He will direct our paths. (Proverbs 3:6)

We know that because of God’s mercy, we can always come to Him. If we have wandered from the Lord, we can return to Him and He will forgive us. (Acts 2:38-39, Isaiah 55:6-7, Psalms 145:8, James 4:10, Luke 15:24)

We draw close to God when we go to the House of God to worship, give thanks, pray, and hear the preaching of His word. (Titus 1:3, Hebrews 10:25)
