"And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding,
shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:7
"And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also:
knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and
experience, hope: and hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed
abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us." - Romans 5:3-5
"Who also declared unto us your love in the
Spirit." - Colossians 1:8 [He has told us about the love for others that
the Holy Spirit has given you.]
"Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God;
and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. ... And we have
known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that
dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him." - 1 John 4:7, 16
"Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye
see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of
glory:" - 1 Peter 1:8
To be powerful witnesses, we need to stay full of the Holy
Ghost!
"And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where
they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and
they spake the word of God with boldness." - Acts 4:31
Have you received the Holy Ghost?
The Holy Ghost was first poured out on the Day of Pentecost.
"And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and
began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance." -
Acts 2:4
Peter preached the gospel that day, and what to do so we too
can receive the Holy Ghost.
"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized
every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye
shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
“For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to
all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call." -
Acts 2:38-39
