They go with the flow of the world. (1John 2:15-16, Eph.2:2)
The god of this world, satan, has blinded their minds.
(2Cor.4:4)
Those that are living for Jesus have hope and the promise of
eternal life. (Rom.6:23)
They are determined, fighting spiritual warfare and
surviving, swimming against the current of the world. (Eph.6:10-12, 2Cor.6:14,
2Cor.6:17-18)
Those that are living for Jesus, are a light that the world
looks to when they are tired of sin and death. (Eph.5:14, Matt.5:14)
Those that are living for Jesus are the shining examples of
truth - the light of Jesus shining through them. (Phil.2:15, Eph.5:8)
By their faithfulness, overcoming the world as a
demonstration of their faithfulness, they are able to lead their family and
friends into salvation. (Col.1:5-6)
Their upstream struggle results in fruitfulness, and they
multiply. (Col.1:10, Mark 16:15)
They are like the live fish that makes it all the way up
stream to their destination. (1John 4:4, 1John 5:4, 2Timothy 4:7-8, Rev.17:14)
