Isaiah prophesied of the death of Jesus. (Isaiah 53).

Jesus was born to die.
"Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father,
save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour [But this is
the very reason I came!]." - John 12:27 KJV
"Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh
and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death
he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;" -

The baptism of Jesus was His death. (Matthew 20:22, Mark
10:38).
"But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I
straitened till it be accomplished!" - Luke 12:50 KJV
"Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into
Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by
baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the
glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life." -
