The Right Hand of God

When the Bible speaks of the right hand of God, it is not speaking of a physical location next to God, for God is Spirit, filling the universe, and is everywhere at once.

The right hand of God speaks of God’s power, authority, righteousness and salvation.

"O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory." - Psalm 98:1 KJV

"Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy." - Exodus 15:6 KJV

"Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me." - Psalm 138:7 KJV (See also: Psalm 44:3).

"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." - Isaiah 41:10 KJV (See also: Psalm 48:10).

"Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God." - Luke 22:69 KJV

"And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven." - Mark 14:62 KJV [“I AM” – Exodus 3:14]

Jesus, the beginning and the end, the author and finisher, God Almighty, suffering the shame of the cross, accomplished His mission, sitting down in the right hand of power in His throne.

"Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen." - Jude 1:24-25 KJV
