Are we doing, or have we done, what Jesus called us to do?
Have we been faithful to do what He DAILY wants us to do?
Are we allowing distractions that entertain us to interfere
with the things that have eternal value?
"For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh,
and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is
of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that
doeth the will of God abideth for ever." - 1 John 2:16-17 KJV
Do we allow our mind to dwell on those things that we should
forget?
Are there people we need to forgive, before we start fresh
in the new year?
"Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but
this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching
forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize
of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 3:13-14 KJV
Have we made a greater consecration and dedication, in these
end days, to be unmoveable in our faithfulness to Jesus, His gospel, His truth?
"These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall
overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are
with him are called, and chosen, and faithful." - Revelation 17:14 KJV
