There is one God – His name is Jesus. He is our Father. He is Spirit. He is our Saviour.

"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:" - Deuteronomy 6:4

"There is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me. Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else." - Isaiah 45:21-22

"And all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob." - Isaiah 49:26 KJV

The Father took on the form of flesh and blood as our Saviour to deliver us from death from our sins. He did this by dying in our place. He was buried, and rose again the third day. (Colossians 1:14-15, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, Acts 20:28, Hebrews 2:14-15).

"But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:" - 2 Timothy 1:10 KJV

"And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins." - Matthew 1:21

"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." - Acts 4:12

"For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord." - Luke 2:11

How do we find salvation?

"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

“For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

“Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers." - Acts 2:38-42 KJV
