What can wash away our sins? Nothing but the blood of Jesus!

Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood," - Revelation 1:5b

When we repent of our sins, and are baptized in Jesus name, the blood of Jesus washes away all of our sins.

"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." - Acts 2:38

We once were lost in sin, but Jesus had mercy on us, and paid the price of death so that we could be saved, no matter what our sin was. Jesus loves us, while we were yet sinners.

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him." - Romans 5:8-9

“Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, (those who indulge in sexual sin) nor idolaters (who worship idols), nor adulterers (commit adultery), nor effeminate (are male prostitutes), nor abusers of themselves with mankind (practice homosexuality), nor thieves, nor covetous (greedy people), nor drunkards, nor revilers (are abusive), nor extortioners (cheat people), shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God." - 1 Corinthians 6:9-11

"But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) and hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:" - Ephesians 2:4-6

"And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord." - Acts 22:16
