Why should I go to church? Part 1

I should go to church to hear the gospel. (1Corinthians 15:1-4)

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be SAVED. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they HEAR without a PREACHER? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the GOSPEL of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

“BUT they have not all OBEYED THE GOSPEL. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?" - Romans 10:13-16 KJV

I should go to church to obey the gospel.

Peter preached the gospel of Jesus on the Day of Pentecost. When asked, “What shall we do?” he replied how to OBEY THE GOSPEL.

"Then Peter said unto them, REPENT, and BE BAPTIZED every one of you in the NAME of JESUS Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall RECEIVE the gift of the HOLY GHOST.

“For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. And with MANY OTHER WORDS did he TESTIFY and EXHORT, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

“Then they that gladly received his word were BAPTIZED: and the same day there were ADDED UNTO THEM about three thousand souls." - Acts 2:38-41 KJV [caps my emphasis]
