The Bible says we are not to continue in our former sins, but to be holy “in all manner of conversation.”

We have repented of our sins, we have made a covenant with Jesus having our sins washed away when we were baptized in JESUS NAME (not titles - Father Son and Holy Ghost), and we have been filled with His HOLY Ghost (Spirit).

The word here for conversation includes conduct. All manner of conduct pretty much covers everything we do, say, see, and hear. The verse written before this includes our mind. Thus, every part of our being is to be holy, as God is holy.

"Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy." - 1 Peter 1:13-16 KJV

What do we look at? What do we listen to? What do we say? What do we think? What do we do?

We are to be prepared and disciplined expecting the soon coming of the Lord, not looking back to the world, but obedient, not conforming ourselves to the world as we did before in our ignorance, but now because God that has called and chosen us is holy, we also must be holy in everything that we do. For God says in his Word, You shall be holy, because I am holy.
