Daniel was a servant of the Lord. He was the taken captive to the foreign
kingdom of Babylon and made a servant of a heathen king that did not serve the
Lord. Daniel was determined to live for
God no matter where he was nor what his situation.
"But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not
defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he
drank..." - Daniel 1:8
In the midst of Babylon, Daniel was faithful to God, and God
blessed him greatly.
