We gave thanks to Jesus for our many blessings on Thanksgiving
Day. Many gave thanks throughout the month, recalling blessings from God in
their life. Yet, we should not let our praise and thanksgiving to Jesus end
with Thanksgiving. The Bible says, “Let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God
CONTINUALLY…giving thanks to His name.” (My emphasis).
"By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise
to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his
name." - Hebrews 13:15 KJV
Let us remember ALWAYS to give thanks to Jesus for all
things every day.
"In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of
God in Christ Jesus concerning you." - 1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV
"Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness,
and for his wonderful works to the children of men! And let them sacrifice the
sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing." - Psalm
107:21-22 KJV
"As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord,
so walk ye in him: rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as
ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving." - Colossians
2:6-7
