When we have turned from our sins, have been baptized in Jesus name to wash our sins away, and received His Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38), we need to learn to be led by the Spirit of God. This way we can live a victorious life overcoming sin and be used by God in His kingdom.

"For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit." - Romans 8:5 KJV

Jesus will lead us: in our conversation (feeling led to not say what we are about to say, or led to say something), in our actions (to do something or not do something, go someplace or not go someplace), in our thoughts (to stop thinking about something, or think about something), in our prayers (putting a person on our mind, putting a situation on our mind).

"Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." - Romans 8:12-14 KJV
