A New Creation in Christ

It was by God’s word that He made creation. “And God said…” and it was so.
While God’s word leads to creation, our word, by our tongue, can lead to destruction.
"And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: but the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil [restless evil], full of deadly poison." - James 3:6-8
When we turn our life to Jesus, the Creator of the Universe, and allow Him to take control of our tongue, we can become a new creation.
"And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance." - Acts 2:4
When we repent of our sins, we are baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins, and we are filled with His Holy Ghost, instead of being headed for destruction, we become a new creation in Christ.
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature [creation]: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." - 2 Corinthians 5:17
When we allow God to control our lives, allowing Him to fill us with His Spirit, allowing Him to take control of our tongue, an unruly evil, Jesus creates us in Christ with a new godly walk with new godly talk.
"Let no corrupt communication [defiling - foul or abusive language] proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying [good, helpful words], that it may minister grace [be an encouragement] unto the hearers. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
“Let all bitterness, and wrath [rage], and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking [speech injurious to another's good name], be put away from you, with all malice [ill-will, desire to injure]: and be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake [through Christ] hath forgiven you." - Ephesians 4:29-32
A new life, a new creation, allowing our tongue to be controlled by the Spirit, the word of God.
