 The Kingdom of God

Matthew 6:9 Jesus said, "After this manner therefore pray ye..."

Matthew 6:10 "...Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven."

What is God’s kingdom?

Romans 14:17 "For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost."

Jesus told Peter,

Matthew 16:19 "And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven..."

Peter preached the keys of the kingdom of heaven on the day of Pentecost.

Acts 2:38 "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Jesus had said we must be born of water and of the Spirit to enter into the kingdom of God. 

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Jesus gave Peter the keys for how to enter the kingdom of God by water and Spirit. 

Peter revealed we are born of water by water baptism in the name of Jesus.

Peter revealed we are born of the Spirit by being filled with the Spirit.

Acts 2:41 "Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls."
