When we have turned to Jesus, repented of our sins, been baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of our sins and have received the gift of His Holy Ghost, we have become part of the body of Christ.
We are called by His name Jesus and are filled with His
Spirit.
While we are all part of the body of Christ, the Bible tells
us that we each are a member of His body.
"For as we have many members in one body, and all
members have not the same office: so we, being many, are one body in Christ,
and every one members one of another. [Just as our bodies have many parts and
each part has a special function, so it is with Christ's body. We are many
parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.]” - Romans 12:4-5
As we are all members
of the body of Christ, we are all important. We all have our special roles in
the kingdom of God. We all have a part in bringing souls to Jesus.
"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord." - 1 Corinthians 15:58
"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." - Galatians 6:9
