When we have turned from sin by repentance, washed our sins away by baptism in Jesus name, and received the gift of His Spirit, we have access to the ways of God that we did not have before.

By His Spirit we can feel love for the unlovable, forgiveness for the unforgiveable, patience in turmoil, wisdom and direction in the midst of confusion, and joy and peace no matter what the situation.

The key is to stay full of His Spirit.

"But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy." - James 3:17 KJV

"And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:7 KJV
