God, our heavenly
Father, loved us so much, that He made for Himself a body to die for our sins.
Our heavenly Father overshadowed Mary to make a sinless human body so that the
He Himself could give His life in our place as payment for our sins. (Luke
1:35)
"And ye know that he was manifested to take away our
sins; and in him is no sin." - 1 John 3:5 KJV
"Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and
it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and
yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father;
and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?" - John 14:8-9 KJV
The Father’s physical body is called the Son of God. We do
not worship the flesh/body of God, we worship the Spirit of God that dwells
within this body.
"To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world
unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto
us the word of reconciliation." - 2 Corinthians 5:19 KJV
"For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead
bodily." - Colossians 2:9 KJV
God revealed His name, which is above every name, when He
told Mary, you shall call His name JESUS.
"Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given
him a name which is above every name: that at the name of Jesus every knee
should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the
earth;" - Philippians 2:9-10 KJV
We receive remission of sins and the promise of the gift of
the Holy Ghost when we turn to Jesus, turn away from sin by repentance, and are
baptized in Jesus name.
"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized
every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye
shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." - Acts 2:38 KJV
"And with many other words did he testify and exhort,
saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. Then they that gladly
received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them
about three thousand souls. And they continued stedfastly in the apostles'
doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers." - Acts
2:40-42 KJV
