Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable

 

God called us.

We heard the gospel, we believed the gospel, we obeyed the gospel. (1Corinthians 15:1-4, Romans 10:14-16, Acts 2:38, Mark 16:15-16).

We are born again – born of water when we were water baptized in the name of Jesus, born of the Spirit when we were Spirit baptized, filled with the Holy Ghost speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives us the utterance. (John 3:3, 5, Acts 2:38, Acts 2:4, John 3:8).

"For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith." - 1 John 5:4 KJV (1 John 2:15-17).

We repented of our sins; we were baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins. (Acts 2:38).

God chose us when He filled us with His Spirit, the Holy Ghost. (John 15:1).

He gives us victory over sin and death.

"But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." - 1 Corinthians 15:57 KJV

We are faithful.

Those that are with Jesus are called, chosen, and faithful. (Revelation 17:14).

"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord." - 1 Corinthians 15:58 KJV

"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." - Galatians 6:9 KJV

"He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God." - Revelation 2:7 KJV

"He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son." - Revelation 21:7 KJV

"And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb." - Revelation 22:1 KJV
