God defeated enemies that came against His people not by might, nor by power (man's armies), but by His Spirit.

Today God defeats our enemies - addiction, depression, oppression - not by might, nor by power (man's power) but by His Spirit.

It is by the power of God that we have victory in the battles in our life. How do we get the power of God in our life?

"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." - Acts 1:8 KJV

How are we witnesses? By the power of God’s Spirit, the Holy Ghost, we have a changed life. How can we receive the Holy Ghost?

"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

“And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward [crooked] generation. Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

“And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers." - Acts 2:38-42 KJV
